Successful DesignCon 2004 Results in Growth of DesignCon East
CHICAGO February 16, 2004 – The International Engineering Consortium (IEC) recently announced that exhibit space for its upcoming DesignCon East 2004 has increased by 50%. This increase is due largely to the resounding success of this year’s DesignCon, the annual educational event for electronic-design engineers in Silicon Valley, held two weeks ago in Santa Clara. DesignCon East builds on the tradition of its West coast counterpart by bringing an original program of education and technology exhibitions to the Eastern region of the United States. DesignCon East takes place April 5–7 in Boxborough, Massachusetts, with the exhibition scheduled for April 6–7.
Companies currently included in the technology exhibition include Agilent Technologies, Ansoft, Artisan Components, asicNorth, Atrenta, FCI Electronics, InterCon Systems, Intrinsix, Prentice Hall PTR, Rambus Inc., SyntheSys Research, TDA Systems, Teradyne, Wavecrest, Winchester Electronics, and Zeland Software. The momentum established at the Santa Clara event has resulted in a flurry of activity for the East show, and exhibit space is filling rapidly.
Along with the technology exhibition, DesignCon East also includes a full program of technical sessions, tutorials, keynote addresses, and interactive panel discussions. A portion of this program is offered as complimentary education to exhibit-only attendees.
